Vivid Entertainment Group, the leading adult film company, has signed a seven-year contract with adult megastar and internationally famous cover girl model Tera Patrick and her company TeraVision.

The agreement gives Vivid exclusive distribution rights in North America to all movies produced by TeraVision, including films starring Tera Patrick and any actresses signed by TeraVision to exclusive contracts. A minimum of four movies per year is expected to be released under the pact.

“Tera has met and surpassed every expectation we had for her,” says Steven Hirsch, co-founder/co-chairman of Vivid. “Her films Tera, Tera, Tera, Reign of Tera and Collision Course are all top sellers. Tera is the only model to ever appear on the covers of Playboy and Penthouse simultaneously. She appears frequently in both FHM and Stuff magazines. Earlier this year FHM magazine in the U.K., announced that it was launching a regular monthly sex advice column written by Tera and she was the subject of a day-in-the-life feature in FHM’s September issue in the U.S. She has recently appeared several times on VH-1 and was featured earlier this year on VH-1’s special “The Hottest Girlfriends and Wives of Rock Stars” on which she also served as a commentator. Red Light District Video has closed a deal with director Michael Ninn and his production company, Ninn Worx, to begin exclusive distribution of his movies on January 1, 2006.

“This is exciting news,” Red Light District president David Joseph said Wednesday. “I’m honored. I’m thrilled. I can’t believe Michael actually considered me and did a deal with me.”

Joseph continued, “Doing Ninn Worx’s distribution is perfect for our company. What we do and what he does adds value to both our companies.”

Ninn Worx productions have been exclusively distributed by Pure Play Media for the past three years. Ninn’s company has developed a reputation for excellent videography, creative lighting and editing, and overall high-end production values. In the past year, the veteran director showed his versatility by slickly blending the same strong production values with much harder sex content in his dark, critically acclaimed Neo_Pornographia series. Meanwhile, his ambitious video/film hybrid, Catherine, has garnered 15 nominations for the 2006 AVN Awards.

Joseph told that a mutual friend placed him in contact with Ninn.

Gay porn journalist-turned-director Jason Sechrest has been signed by straight porn star Lexington Steele’s Mercenary Pictures company to direct four movies for Mercenary’s new division, Black Viking Pictures.

The new line will produce “gay XXX videos, solos, transsexual movies — anything outside the realm of Mercenary’s ordinary straight videos,” Sechrest told GAYVN.

Sechrest’s first movie for Black Viking is titled My First Interracial. The picture has just completed shooting and has a tentative release date of February 2006. “All four of my currently contracted movies for Black Viking will be interracial movies,” Sechrest said.

My First Interracial features popular white stars Nick Capra, Park Wiley, Caleb Carter, Bobby Williams, and Lexx Parker having sex with black men for the first time. Some are “first time on camera,” some “first time ever,” Sechrest said.

New Swedish research, to be published next year, will provide powerful evidence that oral sex can cause mouth cancer.

That is the conclusion of researchers who have proved what has long been suspected, that the human papilloma virus, HPV, can cause oral cancers. HPV is an extremely common sexually transmitted infection.

The study was conducted at the Malmo University Faculty of Odontology in southern Sweden.

The risk, however, is tiny. Only around 1 in 10,000 people develop oral cancer each year; and most cases are probably caused by two other popular recreational pursuits: smoking and drinking.

Sin City Entertainment announced it has signed newcomer Gina Austin to an exclusive, multi-year performance contract.

The 22-year-old from Cleveland, Ohio, said she plans to work with a set list of top male talent and even has the option to direct a few titles a year.

“I started out stripping part time to help pay the bills,” Austin said. “I had tried several different career paths but liked being naughty more than being nice.”

Even though Austin explored careers as a real estate agent and paramedic, she said she was secretly interested in posing for men’s magazines. Then in September of this year, she became the Penthouse Pet of the Month.

“As long as I can remember I’ve wanted to pose for Penthouse and be a Pet,” she confessed. “When I discovered they were auditioning, I didn’t waste a second.”

Austin went on to work for Penthouse Letters in a couple of scenes before performing in a handful of titles for Sin City, including a recent edition of Barely 18, Model Behavior and Orgasmika. None of the titles have been released yet. Her performances generated an immediate response, creating several opportunities for her.

“I never imagined that it would happen so fast,” Austin acknowledged. “Within less than a week I was being offered everything I could ever want. It was almost overwhelming.”

After careful consideration, she chose to go with Sin City.

With video iPods becoming available less than one month ago, Evil Angel has jumped to be one of the first major adult companies to provide video entertainment for the iPod.

This addition makes Evil Angel’s current trailers available in Quicktime and Windows Media formats, and now the iPod’s MPEG-4 format. Viewers can subscribe to the Evil Angel Pudcast and automatically stay up to date on all new trailers using iTunes. The trailers will be stored on the user’s computer, where they can be viewed using Quicktime or copied to video iPod to be watched on the go.

At press time, there were 30 Evil Angel trailers available in the subscriber library, with new trailers still being added. After the library of Evil Angel trailers has been made available through iTunes, fans can expect to see 1-2 new trailers each week.

It has been estimated by Apple that there are already over 20,000 unique providers of video podcasts through iTunes. With the holiday gift-giving season just around the corner, and video iPods certainly on a lot of wish lists, this media form seems ready to explode.
