Both Starr Productions and the Nasty Boyz were previously with Dane Productions, but upon exit, they found some commonalities in how they looked at adult entertainment. “We found out that we saw a lot of popular culture in the same way,” starlet Elizabeth Starr, owner of Starr Productions, told. “We had such similar mindsets that Big Daddy Mac Nasty and I will be writing a feature together in the future.”

“We’re up and rolling again and we’re working at 110 percent,” added Starr.

Currently, several Nasty Boyz titles can be bought through Starr Productions including the Lick Me All Over series, the Maximum Pussy series and Strap-On Heaven.

Private Toy Collection

Doc Johnson and Private Media Group have given their joint-effort Private Toy collection a makeover to reflect the latest design trends and innovations within industry.

The new look of the Private Toy collection reflects Private Video’s evolution into being a cutting edge manufacturer of high-end adult features.

“The Private Toys collection continues to reflect a European sensibility but we’ve given it a classier look without losing any of the raw sensuality that has made the line so popular,” said Lavi Yedid, national sales manager for Doc Johnson. “The initial response to the new look has been overwhelming.”

The new design of the Private Toys collection features packaging with statuesque blonde models in stylish and colorful PVC wear, reminiscent of a fashion magazine.

The colors of the novelties in the Private Toys collection have been made bolder and brighter, as compared to the pastels and softer colors that dominate most of Doc Johnson’s other lines.

In addition to the overhaul of the Private Toy collection’s packaging and overall look, Doc Johnson will introduce several new product categories into the collection throughout the year, including Private Pink, a line of pink vibrators that includes a mix of phallic and non-representational designs geared towards the female consumer, and Love Beats, pulsating heart-shaped beads.

Briana Banks stars in Vivid / Red Light District Co-Production

Briana Banks

Vivid Girl Briana Banks is starring in a co-production for Vivid Entertainment Group and Red Light District directed by Manuel Ferrara.

Ferrara, the two-time, reigning AVN Male Performer of the Year, today is shooting Banks in a scene with Michael Stefano, Mick Blue and John Strong in which she will get d.p.’ed. Banks will also do a one-on-one with Ferrara and participate in a group scene with Red Light contract girl Brianna Love and Rita Faltoyano, with Stefano, Strong and Ben English.

“Basically, I just want to do something where Vivid, the feature company, meets Red Light, the gonzo company,” Ferrara told on Tuesday, noting that Banks is “probably the strongest Vivid Girl” in terms of performing. “I want to show that a girl like Briana Banks that is very well known as a contract girl can be as hardcore as the kind of gonzo that Red Light does.

“Plus she has a huge name in the industry. It’s very good. It’s going to be the first time we worked together. We have some common friends and have gone out a couple times bowling. She’s actually really good at bowling too.”

Ferrara personally selected the cast which also includes Flower Tucci, Courtney Simpson and Tiffany Rayne.

“It was very important for me to use the Red Light guys (Stefano and Strong) in the movie,” Ferrara said. “I’m just very happy that I could have all the people that I have booked in this movie. I think they’re all incredible performers.”

“I’m looking forward to shoot that group scene with Brianna, Briana and Rita. It will be the first time a Red Light contract girl shoots with a Vivid contract girl. Both are incredibly beautiful.”

Ferrara said that he will also bang Tucci and use it as the first scene in the movie.

“I think Flower is one of the best performers in the industry. She is nasty and she loves to fuck more than anything, which is the main reason why she is in the industry. I think she is an incredible performer,” he said. “I’m going to start strong with that scene, like we’re not messing around, having strong sex right away. This movie is about showing that with Red Light and Vivid there is not so much difference, besides having Vivid do more features.”

Marci Hirsch, vice president of production for Vivid, told AVN.com that the idea started with a discussion between Vivid national sales manager Howard Levine and Red Light District president David Joseph.

“And Howard was saying it would be great if we did some of kind of project together, and then [Vivid co-chairman] Steven [Hirsch] and David talked,” Marci Hirsch said. “The whole idea is to alleviate the myth that our girls don’t do anything. … Our girls don’t shy away from anything we’ve ever asked them to do.”

Levine added, “David Joseph and I were hanging out – I love David – and it was just an idea. And I asked him if we could do a Red Light meets Vivid, and he thought it was a great idea. So we took one of nastiest Vivid Girls and one of his nastiest directors and put them together and it’s like the bride of Frankenstein meets Godzilla. It is going to be some of the nastiest footage.”

Ferrara, a frequent performer for Vivid, said that the award-winning feature company knew he wanted to work with Banks. Marci Hirsch said Vivid would distribute the yet-to-be-titled movie which would be released during the summer at the earliest.

“This is what Briana wants to do. It’s not as if we hold her back,” Marci said. “We shoot our movies the way we shoot our movies, but this is more in line with how she did her scenes before she came to work for us.”

Ferrara said there is a little storyline in the movie that entails Banks meeting Red Light director Jake Malone and telling him how much she wants to do a scene like Red Light does. Malone then hooks her up with Ferrara.

“He’s going to be the one wanting to connect us together. She’s going to show me she is different than what people think of a Vivid contract girl,” Ferrara said. “I really want to show that a Vivid girl can be as nasty as any girl.”

Ferrara indicated this would be his last movie for Red Light before he officially departs for Evil Angel. On Monday, he fucked Simpson and Rayne to kick off the shoot.

“It went very well. It always goes well when you’re fucking two girls,” Ferrara joked.

Stefani Morgan signs three-year deal with Vivid

Wednesday, March 15th, 2006

Stefani Morgan

First-year Vivid Girl Stefani Morgan is returning to Vivid after signing a three-year contract with the company today.

“I really have to think of myself for the long term and I didn’t want to just do a year and then walk away from Vivid,” said the 20-year-old Morgan.

Vivid boss Steven Hirsch said he was pleased with the new deal.

“We’re are looking forward to working with Stefani over the next three years. Her appeal goes beyond beauty and talent. She has a special poise and confidence that radiates a superstar quality which we rarely see,” he said.

Having signed with the company last June, Morgan has appeared in nine movies, but just three have been released, which include last year’s Sunny, and her starring feature debut in Star, released in January.

Under the deal, Morgan will perform in eight starring features per year over the next three years. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“I’m really excited about re-signing with Vivid and especially now that I have a lot of things coming up,” she said, referring to her upcoming Rawhide, set for release on April 5 along with a number of other movies and her co-hosting work with Playboy TV’s The Bang entertainment news series.

Morgan had been a mainstream model where she did mostly print work for a number of magazines before gaining wide attention as host of one of the Girls Gone Wild videos. Although she didn’t show her breasts during the video, she soon parlayed her celebrity into an exclusive contract with Vivid last year.

“People tell me you’re too pretty to be doing porn. You’re too wholesome, but they don’t know me. I’ve always been very sexual,” she said.

Morgan said part of her reason for extending her contract was that she enjoyed working with AVN Award-winning director Paul Thomas, fellow director B. Skow and its other directors and staffers.

“I love working with (Thomas). I totally respect what he does and I really love how he works and there are a lot of other really good people there that I respect,” she said.
