In addition to Digital Playground’s home page presence, all available DP titles will be supported by reviews, screenshots, box covers and trailers. GameLink’s Director of Business Relations, Michael Voss said the partnership “makes perfect sense.”

“Digital Playground and GameLink are both forward-thinking companies that keep themselves on the cutting edge with innovation and premium content,” Voss said.

Digital Playground President Samantha Lewis remarked, “GameLink has carried our DVDs for years and we’ve had a great relationship so offering our titles on VOD to their customers is the next step. I look forward to increasing our profits together.”

Life After Porn

Sydnee Steele

Yes, there is life after porn after all. At least for retired Wicked contract girl Sydnee Steele there is.

Being an adult star doesn’t exactly prepare one for too many allied fields, but Steele, still long, lean, luscious and shapely in all the right places, has found one: author. And that has led her to another – sex coach.

Steele has penned “Seducing Your Woman,” a 112-page sexual self-help book for men recently published by Canada’s Burman Books, and it’s re-invigorated her.

A year out of Porn Valley, life is good for Sydnee Steele. And being the thoroughly classy individual that she always has been, she’s most deserving.

Juicyblog: So what’s new with Sydnee Steele?

Steele: I’m having a good time. Life is really fun. “Seducing Your Woman,” my new book just came out in March. We had a launch party up in Toronto. This is their second set of books they’re doing. Kind of a whole self-help series. The publisher, found me by chance, and it was interesting that right at that time that he found me — the day that (Wicked Pictures publicist) Daniel (Metcalf) was moving to North Carolina from Wicked — Daniel forwarded me an email. And said, “I don’t know what you think of this, but this guy seems pretty good to me. He’s interested in you doing a book,” and I’m like, “You’re kidding me!” I was thinking about doing something along the lines of this topic. Totally coincidental, and the book kind of speaks about that’s how I look at life. Things just kind of, you summon things and they show up at your doorstep.” My book is completely G rated. It’s kind of funny that I’m the porn star writing a G-rated book.

Juicyblog: Do you have a writing background? Had you ever done any writing before?

Steele: No, not at all. I got interested in it some time ago. Just started researching on my own. I ordered (writing) DVDs and read and understood. It seemed that once I decided that that was what I was gonna do, the flow came thru me. It was really neat how I could just write pieces and show them to friends, they’d be like this is really good. And people I noticed, they were surprised at my ability to put something down on paper.

Juicyblog: Did you find the writing process came naturally?

Steele: So easy. Really good, yeah.

Juicyblog: You’re also working as a sex therapist?

Steele: Yes. Sex coaching. This idea popped up, it was interesting. I all of a sudden realized there were some girlfriends that found out about my book and they were extremely curious. All of a sudden I became someone they felt comfortable asking questions. They knew that I had a history in porn, but I was simply just me to them, I was just one of the girls. I started doing women’s groups about techniques. And how to really, if you’re desiring something out of your partner, to really look within yourself, and then you start creating it within you. And you can get that reaction out of your partner. So it’s kind of techniques, how to use your eyes, how to be that sexual diva. Blow job techniques. It’s about do you have a desire of somewhere you want to go sexually within your relationship or finding someone to get there. And I help them make a map.

Juicyblog: Is this strictly for women?

Steele: No, I see men too.

Juicyblog: It’s a strictly speaking type of thing?

Steele: Yeah. There’s no hands-on training.

Juicyblog: Do you have to be credentialed to be doing what you’re doing?

Steele: No, sex coaching is an open field. It’s not even a defined thing; it’s kind of like life coaching.

Juicyblog: So you have another book in the works?

Steele: I’m working on a project yeah. It’s very big.

Juicyblog: You want to talk about it?

Steele: I don’t, it’s premature.

Juicyblog: Is it a writing project?

Steele: It is a writing project. At least 220 pages.

Juicyblog: Are you completely out of porn now?

Steele: Yeah. I’m not a talent actress right now.

Juicyblog: Do you think that’s a permanent move?

Steele: I do. I’m so happy with my experience, and I’m so happy with everything, how it went down, it wouldn’t make sense to try it again. That would be stepping back into a world. (Wicked director and former Steele love interest) Michael Raven recently offered me an acting role. I’m like, “You know, I’m so flattered you asked, thank you. But I think right now, that’s not where I’m at.”

Juicyblog: So you left porn because it was just basically your time.

Steele: I totally fell in love with my boyfriend too. Sex where you’re in star fields. I always had good sex, really good sex, but there was a chemistry connection. I noticed I also wasn’t as excited to show up at set. I noticed I was tired of it. In interviews and stuff, they’d ask how long is this gonna last? And I always said when I stopped having fun, and I kept my word to myself. I stopped having fun. There was no pressure from my boyfriend to not work, it was just the next step.

Juicyblog: How long have you been out of porn for?

Steele: One year from Wicked April 1.

Juicyblog: What was your last movie?

Steele: My last movie was Pillow Talk. Devinn Lane directed it. I just worked with girls.

Juicyblog: That’s always a sign that you’re ready to move on.

Steele: It is. That’s a big one for me too. I was always so balls on, “Yes, let’s go.”

Juicyblog: Was it tough leaving Wicked?

Steele: I love everybody there. I met with (Wicked owner) Steve Orenstein, and said it was time for me to move around. He’s an amazing person that allows everyone their freedom to create whatever you want to create within the adult industry. That’s why I have such respect for him. I couldn’t say enough about that company.

“Seducing Your Woman,” co-written by hypnotherapist Luke Chao, can be purchased through Burmanbooks.com or Sydnee’s site, thelovegeneration.com. Two sample passages follow:

Women are fun. Play with them!

Play with women, almost like you’re kids on a playground. There’s a lot of love, friendship and fun in playing. When you can get a woman into a child-like mood, she’ll fall in love with you. By making her playful, you remove her from the fears and anxieties of everyday life.

Make her feel wonderful.

If you give her the best of both worlds — the Prince Charming and the bad boy — she’ll adore you for it. Be constantly loving and faithful, but at the same time, also be adventurous and exciting. Surprise your woman. Don’t always tell her where you’re going. Give her the mystery and unpredictability she desires, along with the loving kindness that makes her feel wonderful.

Steele appeared in more than 300 adult titles from 1997-2005, most notably such Wicked Pictures features as Dream Quest, Hercules, and Euphoria, for which she won AVN’s Best Actress – Video Award in 2002. Her final title was Wicked’s Pillow Talk, released last year.

Doc Johnson presents Naughty Secrets Collection

Naughty Secrets

Novelty manufacturer Doc Johnson recently began shipping Naughty Secrets, its first collection of women’s adult novelties specifically designed for shelving by mainstream retailers or alongside softer stock in adult stores.

“Naughty Secrets was developed in response to retailer requests for novelties geared toward women that were packaged in a friendly inviting manner that was suggestive without being graphic,” said Chad Braverman, manager of product design and licensing for Doc Johnson.

“Given the response we’ve had to the new line, I think we can say with confidence that Naughty Secrets provides exactly what retailers are asking for.”

The manufacturer said that packaging for Naughty Secrets is feminine and playful, featuring shades of pink and a sketch of a suggestively coy woman with horns pressing her finger to her mouth in an indication of secretiveness.

The collection currently consists of three vibrating novelties, an assortment of flavored lubricants, body gels, crèmes and a pink love mask. The individual items all include the word “desire” in their name.

The collection includes it own versions of Doc Johnson’s Pocket Rocket, dubbed Devices of Desire.

The collection’s other two vibrating devices are the Inner Desire, a waterproof multi-speed vibrating egg and the 7-inch Burning Desire, a variable-speed vibrator with a twist-dial controller.

The Naughty Secret collection also includes Burning Desire, a water-soluble gel that creates a warming sensation when touched or blown upon, and Private Desire, a water-based personal lubricant. Both the gel and lubricant come in 3.4 ounce bottles packaged within a box.

Burning Desire is available in three flavors: Hot Cherry, Wild Strawberry and Pink Passion Fruit. Private Desire is available in Cherry Vanilla and Strawberry.

The line’s edible body topping, known as Sinful Desire, is available in a four-ounce jar and comes in Passion Fruit or Cotton Candy flavors.

The final item in the current collection is Eyes of Desire, a soft-padded blindfold mask with a fuzzy pink surface.

Naughty Secrets is already available in stores.

Thomas Zupko returns to Extreme

Extreme

Director Thomas Zupko has returned to team up with Rob Black and Extreme Associates, where Zupko spent three years starting in early 2000. Black told that Zupko will be back with the company “full time” now.

“It’s just like the old days again,” said an exuberant Black, “and we did some pretty crazy shit in the old days.”

Zupko, who is known for his eccentric titles, got his start in 1997 with Evil Angel and his first video, Anal Ball. He then met Black through a mutual friend, and went on to helm titles such as In the Days of Whores and Ass Clowns (now out-of-print). “Those titles were really Zupko’s best work to date,” said Black.

The burgeoning director stayed with Extreme until 2003, when Black started “rearranging the company, and subsequently there was a large exodus of my friends.” The Extreme owner explained that he lost focus of the porno side of his company at that time, and was more interested in professional wrestling promotions.

During this rearranging, Zupko left Extreme for Elegant Angel where he created Big, Wet Asses!, which Zupko told, was a really great series in his opinion, but he would have liked to have taken it a little farther. “I’ve always wanted to create titles that will make people think,” said Zupko. “My upcoming stuff will be like Big, Wet Asses! but better. This is my last run.” After a stop at Mayhem, Zupko most recently landed at LFP in May of 2005.

Zupko said that his first title back with Extreme is set to be called Lisa Ann Defiled. Neither the director nor Lisa Ann would elaborate at the moment on what is planned for the starlet, but Zupko did say that it’s something that she’s never done before.

“He’s been watching me since the beginning,” said Lisa Ann, “and now he’s going to show me like I’ve never been seen before.”

Both Zupko and Black said that they’ve reconnected with the director’s return. “After the last month and a half of talks,” said Black, “we’ve both figured out that our mindsets have changed, but our hearts have always been in the same place.”

Zupko is confident that he’ll continue making titles that stand up for what he believes in, especially in light of Black’s recent legal battles. “We must not back down,” said Zupko. “If they take Rob down then there’s no telling what they may find obscene in the future…nobody will be safe.”

“This is the resurrection of Zupko,” Black exclaimed. “We’re going back to the old school with this one, and the gloves are off. No more bullshit!”
