Novelty designer and manufacturer Doc Johnson has recently release its newest addition to their array of Lucid Dream dildos with the DJ Glass Dreams collection. The toy is made in clear borosilicate glass, a medical grade glass material known for its durability.

Chad Braverman, Doc Johnson’s manager of product development and licensing, said that the new collection was designed in response to the popularity of the Lucid Dream collection’s aesthetic designs among women. “The new Glass Dreams collection incorporates the aesthetic that helped make Lucid Dreams so popular, while also offering women the material advantages provided by medical grade glass.”

Borosilicate glass is resistant to bangs and drops to the extent that it is considered almost impossible to break. The glass is non-porous, making it sanitary and easy to clean. It can also be safely heated or cooled for temperature variations without cracking or breaking.

The DJ Glass Dreams collection is launching with four designs: the Intruder, Chessman, G-Spot, andDouble Ended.

The Intruder is a 7.5-inch dildo that curves into an S-shape with a curved head suitable for clitoral and g-spot manipulation while the eight inch Chessman has a rounded head that resembles a traditional chess pawn.

The G-Spot is an eight inch dildo with a straight shaft and curved head specifically for g-spot stimulation. The Double Ended is a nine-inch long double dildo. One end offers a rounded head, with a tapered, slightly thicker head on the other end.

Vivid Entertainment Group on Thursday announced that it has signed Kayden Kross to an exclusive contract, making her the newest Vivid Girl.

The 21-year-old, 5-foot-5 blonde is a senior at Sacramento State College in California and says she was a bookworm before becoming an adult performer.

“I was finding it harder and harder to see how my studies could work into a career that would get me motivated,” Kross said. “ I still intend to get my degree, but I am more excited about launching my life with Vivid. I’m definitely ready for my next adventure which includes having multiple partners. I know I’m going with the top company and I’m really excited about it.”

Kross, who is a published poet, claims her sexuality became more important to her once she turned 18 and started dancing at a local gentlemen’s club. It wasn’t long before she was contacted by an agent and soon she was modeling for Penthouse, Hustler, Club, Swank and Rockstar magazines.

“I think I’m basically a reserved person,” she said, “but I’m pretty turned on just under the surface and, if the situation is right, I can really be outgoing. I had to work as a waitress in a gentlemen’s club for weeks before I got up the nerve to go on stage, but then I got to love it and I looked forward to getting all dressed up and going to work to be with my friends.”

Kross says that she likes well-dressed men, especially those who are a bit older than she is. “If I like someone and he really looks good in a suit, that does it for me,” she said. “I’m also still looking for a guy who likes to ride horses, because I’ve got two and it would be great if we could go riding together.”

She added, “Times have changed about perceptions of the adult industry. All of my friends were supportive of my decision to make this move.”

Kross will start filming her first movie for Vivid this month.

The other current Vivid Girls are Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick, Savanna Samson, Briana Banks, Cassidey, Monique Alexander, Tiffany Taylor, Lacey and Lyndsey Love, Lanny Barby, Sunny Leone, Stefani Morgan and Lacie Heart.

Dan Richards leaves Movie Gallery

Wednesday, November 8th, 2006

061108-001.jpgIndustry veteran Dan Richards, director of purchasing for Movie Gallery — one of the largest chain store buyers in the United States — has announced that he will resign from the position and take up new employment, outside the adult industry. On Nov. 17, Richards will join the Cultural Arts Center in Dothan, Alabama, as its new executive director.

“I didn’t know anything about the industry when I started the job,” Richards told AVN.com, “but when I spent more and more time with people in Adult, I started to realize that the industry is full of really nice people…and it’s not the stereotypical portrayal at all.”

Richards called his seven-year tenure at Movie Gallery “the most challenging and rewarding period of my career, and I regret having to make the difficult announcement.

“This new position will give me the opportunity to work with others in the community to provide education and programs for the arts,” Richards wrote in an e-mail to colleagues.

“The Cultural Arts Center is just beginning what looks to be a long period of growth and expansion. I am excited to be chosen as the person to explore the new challenges.

“[He was] always a pleasure to do business with,” said Howard Levine, national sales manager for Vivid Entertainment Group. “He’s one of the best guys I’ve met in the business. The team of [DVD Buyer] Carrie Parrish and Dan Richards was a winning one.

“I obviously look forward to dealing with Carrie and Movie Gallery in the future. Dan Richards was a friend and I’ll miss him dearly,” Levine continued. “I can’t say enough great things about Dan. He is a straight-up good guy and a real friend.”

Richards added, “I will truly miss everyone in the industry that I have had the pleasure to work with over the past years.

“I wish that people outside the industry could have the opportunity to get to know the people in the adult world like I have. They would come to understand that this industry has lots of nice people and a sense of family unlike many other businesses.”

Ashton Asylum presented Ashton Moore

Friday, November 3rd, 2006

061103-001.jpgClub Jenna has unveiled Ashton Asylum, which features exclusive performer Ashton Moore doing her first boy/girl scenes in over three years.

“I felt it was time to get back out and kick it up a couple of notches, especially considering how creative Club Jenna is,” Moore told.

The starlet said that the title also marked the first time she’d worked with director Laurent Sky in a directorial sense, as well. “I’ve always worked with Laurent as a photographer…and I’ve always loved working with him, he’s definitely one of my favorites.” Moore said that, like Sky’s previous works, he spared no expense with the elaborate backdrops in Ashton Asylum. “The movie has a very high-tech look to it.”

Moore, an Arizona native, originally signed with Club Jenna in March of 2005, but until Ashton Asylum and the newly released Jenna’s Provocateur (in which she has a tryst with Manuel Ferrara), shot only g/g scenes for the company. The starlet said that she personally chose male performer Tommy Gunn to be the guy with whom she would make the leap back into boy/girl shoots. “Tommy is a really great guy off set…he’s very respectful.

“I think the chemistry that Tommy and I had in our scene was amazing.”

Moore also shot a b/g/g threeway for Ashton Asylum with Jean Val Jean (who she also chose) and Hillary Scott. “Jean is the guy that all the girls want to work with, because he’s the new guy and he’s gorgeous.

“It was very exciting to work with Laurent as well as the guys I picked…this is one of the first projects I’ve done that I’m really proud of.”

Moore is on the most recent cover of Club magazine, and is set for a month of signing and feature dancing, including a stop in Oklahoma City this weekend.

A former Jill Kelly contract starlet, Moore was born in Newport Beach, Calif., and grew up in Scottsdale. She was a straight-A student in high school and when she was just 17 she got a job as a waitress in a small local strip club.

Moore then moved on to a bigger club in Tempe, and was picked as a finalist in a photo contest sponsored by the cable show “Hot Body International,” which led to a photo session with Suze Randall.

Ashton Asylum also stars Kate Frost, Sandra Romain, Jerry, John West, Sascha and Steven French.
