Metro Content has announced the acquisition of the new Cheeky Monkey Production Alice, which is a re-imagining of the classic “Alice in Wonderland” tale.

Directed by Erica McLean and Carlos Batts, the movie follows the bubbly Sunny Lane as Alice through her adventure in Wonderland as she and her friends try to gain access to “The Hole” – Wonderland’s most popular nightclub. Along the way Alice is met by many of the classic characters including The Mad Hatter (Evan Stone), The Queen of Hearts (April Flores), The White Rabbit (Andy San Dimas), The Mouse (Katie St. Ives), The Caterpillar (Otto Bauer), Dweedle Dum (Aiden Starr) and more.

Metro’s release will come on the heels of the Tim Burton 3D feature film release of the same name starring Johnny Depp.
